Joola Brave rubber is a Chinese rubber in the Joola collection. Joola had Drum and Drum CWX in their collection before which were made in China. These rubbers performed very good with speed glue. Now speed glue is being banned, they are discontinued. The Joola Brave is replacing that vacuum.

Although Joola Brave is a Chinese rubber this is not unlike other Chinese rubbers. The very positive thing about this rubber is it produces very consistent performance. The quality is extremely good compared with other Chinese rubbers - that’s what you get when you pay $14 compared to a $50 rubber.

The Brave is not a highly tacky rubber. It has the tackiness of Joola Drum or close to some Haifu rubbers. The hitting performs better with Joola Brave.

The speed of Brave is close to the tensor rubbers, but not enough to compare to Tenergy. I would say it is in the range of XIOM Vega Europe.

The sponge is not that hard to compare to the hardness of Tenergy. The Brave need to be praised of it’s spin rather than it’s speed. I have used Brave with Dr.Neubauer Firewall Plus. The effect of the spin was the same to the level of Spinart I compared this to.

Some of the Chinese rubbers in the market that has got attention are from Haifu and DHS. They cost the same price as a Joola Brave. The price the same, I liked Joola Brave much better because of the quality it had. I could use the Haifu rubber only once. The consistent performance of Hurricane was a trouble for me.
