Tibhar Stratus Power Defense is a very good defensive blade I liked very much. The blade is very hard and deadfeeling. I have not seen a blade like this one which can stop the top spin and can cut hard. There is none similar to this one in many popular defensive blades. The only blade that I can think of similar characteristics is Butterfly Matsushita Power Defense.

Tibhar Status Power Defense

The Tibhar Stratus Power Defense is a slow blade, however it is not suitable for a close to the table game. The blade puts more power onto the ball, so the ball is bouncy compared to other defensive blades. The stratus is also not for a passive defender. The blade is suitable for a mid-distance active classic defender. I don’t think this is suitable for modern defenders whose attack strategy is looping. The blade generates power, so suitable for power hit.

I have tried TSP Curl P1R, TSP Curl P-H, TTMaster Fireproof, TTMaster Selection, Tibhar Grass DTech on Tibhar Stratus Power Defense. I have liked Tibhar DTech and TSP Curl P1R on Stratus blade.

Park Mi Kyung of Korea’s style matches this type of blade. See the videos here.
