The Amazing Race is a tough competition to watch. While the Survivor TV series exploit some cunning nature of the competitors, the Amazing Race is different. It is more natural - the competitors testing their fate. It is like a murder mystery unfolding in the last few minutes of the series. Who’s going to be eliminated? That’s tough to watch.

On Sundays I regularly watch Amazing Race series. The series take the audience to many parts of the world, and reveal the challenges of human nature. Recently the Amazing Race has started to reveal the challenges of people who are disabled in some nature of their life. In the last series, Amazing Race had a deaf member fighting to finish the challenge along with his mother. In the recent series is Zev and Justin reveals the results of asperger’s syndrome, the forgetfulness. In the last episode, Zac and Justin forget one of their passport and were eliminated. It’s the rule of the game - the contestants have to keep the travel documents with them.

Zev has asperger’s syndrome. Asperger’s syndrome is a different form of autism. My wife helps children with autism, and have seen some challenging children with autism and asperger’s syndrome.

A report that I read some years ago say table tennis can boost the mental performance and alertness. It is interesting to see some of these autistic or people having aspergers’s syndrome react to table tennis.
