Q: Hey, I am looking to try a new rubber. I have Tenergy and loops fine but chopping and close to the table short play is suffering. Since you have tried many rubbers, what have you found that is good for looping as well as defense?

By the way, I have the TSP Curl PH for past few weeks and the pips are quite hard! Have you had any success?

A: The TSP Curl PH has harder long pips. This long pips rubber has been made for players who used to use TSP frictionless long pips like TSP Bamboo Curl. The long pips of TSP Curl PH don’t bend fast. It is less prone to the incoming spin. The rubber is slow enough for a close to the table game. It can produce knuckle ball effect having more downward flight path. It reverses the opponents spin to a minimum.

The Butterfly Tenergy is a fast high top spin generating rubber. It’s sponge is soft enough for active chopping game.
