This is the first time I’m trying a Stiga blade. I have not used any Stiga blade before and don’t know much about their other blades. I have tried their long pips rubbers like Destroyer.

The Stiga Optimum Seven is a very fast blade. It is a 7 ply blade with thicker outer layer and thinner inner layer. On the surface of the blade, they have some kind of crystal technology. The overall construction makes this made a super fast blade. The sweet spot is very high with consistent performance of the stroke through out the blade.

The Optimum Seven makes a very unique sound while hitting. I have used XIOM Omega III Asian Max on both the sides of the Stiga Optimum Seven. I can say this blade is not for me. The whole combination makes an all-out hitter blade. The XIOM Omega III Asian makes the throw angle high on this blade.

I don’t see any possibility of slowing down a game with this combination. This would be a weapon in the hands of a hitter. This combination will work against pips players as the speed can trouble the pips players.

I don’t recommend this blade and combination for a beginner. You need a great amount of hitting techniques to use this blade successfully, so it fits an expert. If you start with blade, it would be hard to develop proper strokes.

The XIOM Omega III Asian version is available from TableTennisStore.us.
